Following the Trend

So, "HOLY SHIT" I've decided to add a new post to my blog. Shocking I know, but I've been really busy over the past few weeks, but since it's the last day of classes, and I'm deciding not to derail really early, I'll post about the favorite sports teams a la Jeff, Jimmy, Dan, Rell, and anyone else who has done it using the Markman rating system:

Critical "would cut off my left hand for this sport" teams:
Carolina Basketball. About all other things, my life is dictated by the months between October and April. It's the overarching reason of why I'm at UNC. I wouldn't have been nearly as interested as I was in UNC if it weren't for UNC basketball. Hate Duke B-ball. Apathetic to State B-ball.

Very Important:

MLB: The San Francisco Giants: Yes. I like Barry Bonds. Yes, I know he's on steroids. Yes, I know he's an asshole. No, I am not a bandwagon jumping Barry Bonds fan. I loved the Giants before they had Bonds, and will continue to long after he's gone. I cried in 1992 when the Giants went 103-59 and missed the playoffs by 1 game bue to a miserable loss in the last game to the Dodgers 12-4. Of course, I hate the Yankees and Dodgers.

Carolina Football, along with other non revenue sports (in particular Women's B-ball, Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer): Crucial to my love for this U (call me KWII if you must), but I just don't get as into it as much as I do for men's basketball. There's just that mystique there.

NFL: San Diego Chargers: A sentimental favorite. My dad loved the Chargers, and therefore, so do I. They are my team forever. Hate: Redskins, Rams.

Important:

NHL: The Lowly Pittsburgh Penguins: I lived in Pittsburgh when I was really young, with my grandparents, and they turned me onto the Pens. Not sure why else I like them. but they suck. They used to be good though, with Lemieiux and Jagr. Hate: Red Wings.

NBA: The Orlando Magic: I don't really care about the NBA, but I like the Magic. I loved T-Mac when he was there, and now I loved Stevie Franchise. Unfortunately, they aren't good either...hopefully Dwight can bring them to prominence. I obviously was the Hornets before they peaced out of Charlotte...used to go to their games all the time. I LOVED that last season before they left. So much emotion from the players. I used to play basketball with David Wesley and Eddie Robinson...very cool.

Cursory Interest:

NBA: Pistons: Rasheed is probably second to T-Mac in favorite players. Add in Larry Brown, and my idol, Ben Wallace (cause he, like me, can't shoot), and their hardcore D, and I like them.

And that's it...

Poll: Should I keep blogging? Let me know, yes or no with some feedback comments...

yes, but only if you actually do it with a modicum (new favorite word) of frequency (which your 4 year record doesn't show a lot of).

Heck, I might even reward you with a return to my linked blogs....and I know you can't turn that carrot down, TWSHIT
